In his role as Controller, Jeff is responsible for the financial operations of Intermech. Jeff provides financial analysis of operations, job cost accounting, billing, and quarterly/annual forecasting and budgeting. He ensures timely and accurate reporting of financial and job cost data for internal users with an ongoing role in the implementation of the Vista accounting system.
Jeff has worked with national construction companies for the last 41 years. Starting as a Staff Accountant, Jeff would eventually take on responsibilities that included contract administration, proposal preparation, financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting, site audits, claims management, and change order management and negotiations as well as support of operations at locations throughout the United States. Jeff became part of Intermech in 2002 as Controller of Intermech operations in the Western United States.
Jeff holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Idaho. He has also completed master’s level courses in Construction and Labor law, Environmental Auditing and Regulations, and Contracting with the US Government.
The Personal Side
Away from the office, Jeff enjoys time with his wife and family, travel, motorcycling, and fishing for Idaho Steelhead.
