Intermech's corporate headquarters are located in Winston-Salem, NC. Business support departments that are based in Winston-Salem include Safety, Quality Assurance/Quality Control, Human Resources, Information Technology, Finance and Legal. These groups support the company's work nationwide.

In addition to the Intermech's executive staff, operational staff based in Winston-Salem includes team members in project management, construction management, scheduling, estimating, procurement and engineering. These staff members support the company's major project work throughout the United States.

In 2009, Intermech established a new 70,000 square foot fabrication facility located in Aiken, SC for the fabrication of sheetmetal ductwork, piping and integrated mechanical assemblies primarily to support the company's major project work at the U.S. Department of Energy Savannah River Site. The Aiken Fabrication Facility operates under the Winston-Salem Regional Operation Center. Currently, major fabrication work is being performed under NQA-1 quality programs for the Salt Waste Processing Facility, Mixed Oxide Fuel Fabrication Facility (MOX) and Waste Solidification Building at the Savannah River Site.
