Richland Regional Operation Center
Intermech Regional Operation Center located in Richland, WA provides full service mechanical capabilities to Eastern Washington, Northeastern Oregon and throughout the Pacific Northwest. This operation center was founded in 1962 in Pasco, WA as Thompson Mechanical Contractors, Inc. Thompson Mechanical performed worked extensively on all types of piping systems servicing a wide range of applications including food grade, pharmaceutical, nuclear, chemical and plastics.In 1985, Thompson Mechanical began performing as a specialized general contractor for industrial and government projects. Thompson Mechanical Contractors was acquired by Intermech in 1999 and the operations were moved to a brand new office and fabrication facility located in Richland, WA. Today, the Richland operations are fully integrated into the Intermech organization and provide resources for the company regional and national projects as required.
Intermech Richland operations are capable of fabricating and installing all types of mechanical systems and equipment including process piping, utility piping, ductwork and HVAC systems. The Richland Operation Center also self-performs industrial general contracting activities in support of large mechanical installations and industrial plant outages. Projects are performed for a large client base covering a broad range of private industries, the U.S. Department of Defense and the U.S. Department of Energy.
